The BFF

The BFF and I decided to get matching tattoo yesterday. Everything was going well we picked out the tattoo matching infinity sign with the word faith and love on opposite end.  We paid for the tattoo, they drew the tattoo up and asked if we liked it. I instantly hated the tattoo and got nervous and decided not to go through with it. I wasn't nervous about getting a tattoo because I have two already. I just hated how they drew it and I automatically believed it was a sign not to get it. My BFF wanted to get matching tattoo so she decide to get one that I already had butterfly on the back of my leg.

The tattoo artist traced my tattoo so they would be the same size, but personalized it with the different color. My tattoo is the blue, red, pink and yellow. My BFF favorite color is purple so the artist added a lot of purple in her tattoo.  

Im Back

This is a well overdue update. I feel like I turned my back on my blog..-:(. 

I had a difficult time updating my blog. I was without a personal laptop or computer for almost a year. I had two laptop die on me in three years. I decide to purchased a iPad to take the place of my laptop but it was very difficult to upload pictures, updates or do my day to day things. I finally gave in and did my research on the best laptop out. Hands down the Apple Macbook Pro came in at number one. I decide to invest and purchase the MacBook Pro. Best decision and purchase.

Birthday Time!!

My birthday is the day after Christmas. I was able to celebrate my 28th birthday at SAX. SAX is located in DC. SAX meun is Contemporary French food which was not that good, but the entertainment made up for the food. We were entertain by beautiful burlesque dancers.

Okay my baby came in the mail early and it is more than expected. Im sooo in love with this bag. It is three bags in one. The clucth is very big and roomy. Im doing the happy dance.

The More I Get, The More I Want

I found this amazing prayer in Deborah Smith Pegues book Emergency Prays. This prayer is perfect for me and I will be saying and living it in 2012.
Lord, you have been a faithful father and have provided for all my needs. The problem is my eyes are never satisfied. I find the thrill of a new purchase very fleeting; contentment eludes me. Our word warns that whoever loves money never satisfied with his income. Lord i do not want to live my life in such a meaningless way. I want to beware of and resist greed for my life does not consist in the abundance of the things i posses.I long to be model of godliness with contentment this is a winning combination. Help me be content in whatever circumstances i find myself and joyful whether i have little or much.I realize that it is not our will for me be a reservoir of Your abundance, but channel through which you can bless others. Help me understand that wealth without a purpose is just plain old materialism. Remind me often that u give me much so i can give away much. By your grace i will focus on enriching others rather than wanting more, more, more. In the name of Jesus, i pray. Amen

Happy Holidays

OMG It's been forever since i did a post. I feel soooo bad. We are one day away from 2012 and I had to come on my blog to say Happy Holidays. I have no regrets from 2011, it was a very good year for me. I completed my MSW program, started a full time job, became closer with my family and friends, save money, and put myself first. I am looking forward to 2012 to continue with the BLESSINGS start going to church every sunday, reading the Bible and understanding the word, start a new job that I love, start a loving meaningful relationship, go out more, go to the gym, purchase a new car..etc

Yesterday was a very long day. I over extended myself agreeing to attend all these different event. I had a babyshower(never made it, feel sooo bad), Jamaican Stage play "Shebada" which was super funny, football party (Never made it, dont feel bad i am not a sport person), and going with my friend to lunch so she could vent ( waste of money and a headache,lmao but i luv her).

He needed to come home immediately and take care of things.When he arrived at his father's house,sudden sadness and regret filledhis heart. He began to search through his father's important papersand saw the still new Bible,just as he had left it years ago. Withtears,he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages.His father hadcarefully underlined a verse, Matt 7:11 , "And if ye, being evil, knowhow to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall yourHeavenly Father which is in Heaven, give to those who ask Him?"As he read those words, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible.It had a tag with the dealers name, the same dealer who had the sportscar he had desired. OMG it's been forever. Sorry for the lack of post. I can't even say i was busy because i go on other people blog and youtube almost everyday.....SMH....I will make and effort to post once a week.

These Bad boys were my graduation shoes. The color combo is excellent for color blocking. They are pretty high but not difficult to walk in.
